I still live with parents and I live in an apartment building with very thin walls.

I have a dildo but I struggle to use it at night because I'm so conscious about the noise I make. Honestly, everything feels so loud at night and even unscrewing the lid of my lube can be a massive effort due to how loud it can seem. I always struggle to get a good position too and this inadvertently makes a lot of noise due to having laminate flooring.

When I finally get a good position, going too fast can also result in making too much noise so I have to force myself to keep a particular speed, which just kills the mood. Any slight noise, such as from my neighbor, just absolutely obliterates the mood and then I'm sitting on the floor with my dildo still awkwardly inside me fuming because I can't get off.

People in a similar boat, how do you deal with this? For a while there I seemed to really enjoy nighttime sessions but lately they're an absolute pain the ass, I have so much more fun when I'm in the shower because the water drowns out the noise I make.
