Toy for M to improve Stamina

I would like to get a toy to help improve stamina. I am aware about edging and kegals (please don't give a lecture about them). I don't own any toys. Is a fleshlight the best starter route or something else? Hoping to get something and use it in a controlled/almost scientific manner.
