Question about butt plugs...

So I'm(21f) new to anal stuff, and i have a little set of silicone plugs already and I love them. I was just wondering if theres much of a difference between silicone and like the metal plugs as far as sensation goes? Is it worth getting one? dose it feel any better? This is probably a dumb question but I'm curious.
