Some of my more lifelike silicone toys (dildos) seem to get pretty permanently sticky after a while - even post-washing. I read that this could be the makeup of the silicone (lubricants, stickier substances) making their way to the surface due to heat exposure from hands..and other places.

So, are there specific powders people use to lessen the sticky? Is it unavoidable? Is it detrimental to using the toys internally? And are there substitutes for powder, such as cornstarch? I read that that can help, but am wondering if it'll mess up vaginal ph balance; any help would be awesome.

(Should mention: the sticky ones are penis packers - not trans, but I like them anyway, so maybe the body temp and super soft silicone stuff is making it happen?)
