The rooftop bar was buzzing with energy, the city skyline glittering in the background as soft jazz played in the distance. I was leaning on the railing, sipping a cocktail and enjoying the view, when he approached.
“Not a bad view, huh?” he said, his voice smooth as he gestured to the skyline.
“It’s gorgeous,” I replied, turning to face him.
“So are you,” he said with a grin that was equal parts charming and bold.
I rolled my eyes playfully, but I couldn’t deny the way my pulse quickened under his gaze.
He introduced himself, and we started talking, the conversation flowing effortlessly. He had a way of making me laugh, his wit sharp but never mean, and I found myself leaning closer as the night went on.
At some point, he tilted his head toward the dance floor. “Feel like dancing?”
I hesitated, but the warmth in his smile was impossible to resist. He took my hand, leading me to the small dance floor where couples swayed to the music.
As we danced, his hands found my waist, pulling me closer until there was no space left between us. The music seemed to fade as I looked up at him, my breath catching when his lips brushed mine.
The kiss started soft but quickly deepened, his hands tightening on my waist as I wrapped my arms around his neck, slid his hands to my puss .The city lights sparkled behind us, but I barely noticed, too caught up in the way he made me feel like the only person in the world.
When the song ended, he pulled back just enough to rest his forehead against mine. “You’re dangerous,” he whispered, his voice low and full of heat.
“Why’s that?” I asked, breathless.
“Because now I don’t think I can let you go.”
