Decided I'd give a write-up of our time at Insomnia for future partygoers.

My partner and I went to Insomnia last night for their "Sexy Game Night" event. It's posted hours were 8 PM to 3 AM I believe, and we showed up around 11 PM. When we got there, there was no line, we just had to ring to get in. They collected our 60€ and there was free coat check which was nice, and they gave us a ticket to get (free) drinks at the bar. We went up to the main area and were greeted by a large bouncer who offered us a tour of the club. He was a very nice guy who also told us to tell him if we had any problems with anyone which made my partner feel very comfortable. We noticed that there were not many people around, maybe 5-6 couples including us (I think we were the youngest there, in our mid-20s), and then around 6 single guys who were all pretty old and just seemed to wander around so they could peek (read: stare) at people. So we decided to grab a drink and sit on a couch in the main area to wait to see if others showed up. There weren't actually any games being facilitated, which I assume was either due to lack of attendance or because we got there after the game portion of the night had finished. After some time we saw some couples go back to the couples play area so we decided to head there too, though because no one was really there last night only the small couples area was open and there physically wasn't much room for us lol. We ended up going back again after we saw some people clear out and played back there together which was fun. Ultimately only 3 more couples showed up through the rest of the time we were there; we did end up having some great conversation with another couple for a while towards the end of our time, and then left. The other couple we talked to told us that Insomnia wasn't usually this dead on a Thursday and seemed surprise at the lack of people. I'm assuming it was just luck of the draw ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Overall not a bad night but not a spectacular one, if you're looking to try this place out it might be worth sticking to weekends for more of a guarantee on numbers, or specifically organizing a group to all go together on one of the weeknights.
