Hair free downstairs

Random question that I was asked by one of my partners who desired to clean up his back door of hair to make things a lil more streamline for pegging.
He didn't want to shave for obvious chafe or ingrown issues and he's a bit trepidatious of waxing, so he tried Nair with... mixed results and said the Nair smelled awful.
For those who make their back door a bit less hairy, what advice do you have?
While we are on the back door topic, does anyone bleach they're brown eye? Anyone done it?
