I've noticed many people with alt Twitters, some showing their faces despite having professional careers, likely because they aren't widely known. Others hide or blur their faces but display tattoos and other identifiable features. Some even link their alt accounts to professional ones, creating ambiguity about their identity.
I'm considering starting my own alt Twitter, not as a career but for personal expression. I want to maintain privacy while being as open as possible. For example, I plan to wear a mask and show my tattoos, and I may let collaborators on their personal accounts tag me.
Could this approach still pose a risk to my professional life? Can someone make a case against me even if there's no full-face shot in my content? Any advice on balancing these aspects would be appreciated.
