Here's what I don't understand. Why does sex have like... "hidden features". Odd things that make no sense are sexy. People can use sex in odd ways that have absolutely nothing to do with reproduction. There's even the "invention" of "the cumshot", which probably only exists because of recorded video.
Then there's all these odd layers of erotism and eritica. Some people view sex as a private, pleasurable experience. Some use it to get money or fame. Some seek community through it. Some use it to express some untangable, multifaceted form of artistic expression. Some have no interest in sex whatsoever. Some even view physical expression of love as something innately shameful and amoral. Some think sex is truely shameless, while some want others to see themselves experience shame.
It constantly perplexes me that sex is so... complex. Like, at the end of the day it's just movement, applied pressures, chemical chances, and lots of fluids moving places. Everything else that people do involve the same thing. However, sex seems so complex, and goes beyond simple reproduction. So much so, that many people have sex, and reproduction is not even thought of, not intended, and not done. It's such a odd aspect of life itself.
