After reading many posts I have some questions or confusion I need help with

So my offense was in Texas and I was given two years of probation on Deferred Adjudication. Basically after my two years were up I got a piece of paper from the judge showing all charges were dropped and I did not have any conviction etc.

Now Texas treats this deferred still as a guilt and you have to register for 10 years after probation. I left Texas and unregistered.....(though they still have me in the national data base). So to be clear I do not reg at all with Texas anymore. I moved to New Mexico and presented my paperwork and of course I do not have to register because I do not have a conviction.

So my question is, when I go renew my passport.......I do not have a felony so I can honestly answer the question that I have no conviction etc.....

But will I have a mark due to Texas? I know in Texas you can request to be removed early off their registry but it is process and you have to evaluated etc.

Any help or insite will be great because next year my company is having a trip to Costa Rica and I dont want to go and get turned back for this
