Hey guys, I’m in a little bit of a situation and I’ve been trying to figure out how some of the dates work in CA. For registering for school for online and in-person courses. I registered as a sex offended at the very end of the summer semester within the last week to two weeks of the courses I was taking. Between going to probation (which is out of town 2hrs away) and court I didn’t even pass the classes which is a huge bummer. But I had been asking the police department where the security or campus police was and they had mentioned that they weren’t sure if the camps even had one besides general security. I have been trying to contact my parole officer with little to no avail (he emailed me back about something completely separate and that was it). The 5 days to register with the campus and police for online courses has technically passed and the classes are about to end and I’ve just now finally met the campus security officer and had to come back a couple times to find him. I tried calling twice, showed up at the desk 3 times, and didn’t meet him till the 3rd attempt. Everyone I talked to just said come back later. For most campuses you’ve got to enroll months in advance for in person and online courses. But the wording is also somewhat confusing, it all says within 5 days of enrollment or commencement date of the term of enrollment. I have no idea which days those are based off of now cause of how much it’s overlapped and the police didn’t give me much answer. Am I screwed? I haven’t even been registered for a month and I feel like I’m already messing up.
