She accepts everyone for who they are, and goes out of her way to make everyone feel good and believe in themselves. She's also extremely perceptive.
Leighton: Despite her attitude and open hostility, Kimberly was the only roommate TWICE to check on a heartbroken Leighton, even worrying enough while at work to bring Leighton food while the other girls were ignoring her and playing games. She also immediately knew something was wrong in the finale hearing Leighton was still in bed, but kept it to herself to honor Leighton's privacy. Leighton then realized Kim truly did care, and was finally able to share her secret.
Bela: Kimberly's repeatedly told Bela how funny and talented she is, and supported her then had her back when that a-hole alum was mocking her at the Catullan party.
Whitney: She was the only one who truly supported Whitney's soccer, and even went to games and tried in vain to start a wave in a mostly empty stadium. <----- That would have been a hilarious scene imo 🤣
Lila: Like with Leighton, Kimberly risked some hostility cuz she knew Lila would need a push to go after the promotion she wanted, but she knew it'd mean a lot to Lila.
Canaan: Moments after he joked and embarrassed her with Lila, Kimberly realized Canaan was a quiet guy and non-confrontational in reality, and took it upon herself to go after the guy who threw trash at his feet (earning his and especially Lila's respect in the process). At the party, Canaan's resigned to the fact he'd be ignored and make no money. In steps Kim with her cringey but adorable "HERE'S A TWENTY!!" to get him noticed and paid. When Kim learned of Canaan winning his award, she wouldn't let him stand in the background, and made sure he knew how proud she was of him, and how proud he should be of himself.
Saying she's now "trash" for one mistake is incredibly short-sighted and silly. She's a great person who did a bad thing. That's all.
