I would really love if in S3, the writers centered a plot around Leighton’s math interest. I really liked the little sub-plots we got in S1 and S2 about it and I think there’s so much more fun plots we could get from it.

Before it was confirmed Alicia and Leighton were getting back together. I had this idea for next season where Leighton did take the math club guys up on their offer and we see Leighton balancing letting her inner nerd shine while still figuring out ways to maintain her HBIC status with an HBIC girlfriend. You know, the Cady Heron of it all lol. With Leighton back with Alicia, that probably won’t come to fruition, and she’ll likely spend more time at the women’s center but I still want more nerdy math Leighton lol. Just imagine all the quotables we’d get from her interacting with those guys from this season from her class lol.

Of all the main girls, I think it’s safe to say Leighton has had the best character arc over the last 2 seasons. And much of her plot have been focused on her sexuality. We got the subplot about the sorority but outside of her realization that maybe she was doing it to appease her family, it was a little uninspired and boring. As we see more of the girl’s school related interests, it will be interesting to see where Leighton's story goes now that the sorority is seemingly out of the picture for her.
