There needs to be more rejection, ghosting, etc.

Just finished S2 and thought there were a few realistic situations such as awkward dates, unwanted crushes, and being led on (with Nico in S1). It's just a TV show but I would love to see more situations that show how frustrating college dating and love lives can be.

Based on this season, everyone gets with who they want immediately, there's no awkward 'do they even like me'. Bela gets Eric and Dan the comedian (lol) without question, Kimberley gets Jackson and Canaan, Whitney gets Andrew and Canaan, and Leighton gets Tatum and all the Tinder girls. Obviously it helps move the story along if people are getting involved, but sometimes it's a little unrealistic.

It would be nice to see at least one rejection or people getting turned down because there's so much more to romantic attraction than just making eye contact. Some people are super bold when it comes to flirting but not everyone. Show some of the struggles of dating in addition to the success. Also college students are notorious at ghosting, that would be an interesting situation to add!

Last point--I understand why Kimberley developed feelings for Canaan. It happens, you see someone in a different light or being coworker crushes. But Canaan just magically reciprocated feelings. This would have been a great time to deal with the vulnerability of rejection and putting yourself out there.

What do y'all think? Is there too much reciprocation?
