Previously we disallowed second hand selling and buying in this subreddit, for various reasons. But we regularly get users asking seeking to do this, and us mods have decided to experiment with allowing such trade after all. There are other subreddits where buying and selling items is allowed and for the most part it works well. However, all such listings must be made as a comment in this megathread for the time being, rather than being posted as a separate thread.

Selling guidelines

You should post as much information about the doll you are selling as possible, including

• brand and model,
• age,
• pictures from several angles (also advisable to have a note with your reddit name in the pictures) ,
• details about any damage,
• where the item is located,
• price as well as shipping costs if applicable,
• etc.

When the item is sold and paid for, please edit your post to clearly mark it as sold, so that it doesn't take attention away from unsold items.

Listings will be sorted by age. Please don't delete and repost your comment in order to get it to the top of the page more than once per two weeks.

There are other places you can list your item as well. In fact, you might want to simply post a link to a listing on a different site on the comments of this post, rather than pasting the entire listing content. These sites include:

Although scams are a bigger concern for buyers, sellers must also be vigilant. Don't accept buyers that ask to pay in payment methods you are unsure of or other suspicious behavior.

When you sell an intimate item like a doll, it goes without saying that you must clean and thoroughly sanitize the item first.

Buying guidelines

Avoiding scams is the biggest concern for buyers. You should do your due diligence, ideally only buying from users who:

• ...provide evidence that they actually own the doll in question, for example by having a note with their username in the photos,

• ...is not a newly created account with no reputation,

• ...don't insist on suspicious payment methods, or ask for too much personal information.

If you feel ready to buy a doll, private message the seller. Please don't post a sub-comment, in order to not clutter the comment field, unless you have info that other readers would benefit from, like a warning about a scammer.

If you are buying from abroad, please be aware that there may be additional charges such as VAT when you import the item. So if possible, it is recommended that you buy domestically.
