Wanted to check in. It's been 10 days since my wife found out about my acting out behaviors. It seems we will be able to work through this together. We haven't had sex in two weeks, and I haven't masturbated in 10 days. I am worried about the first time we do have sex, about snowballing after that.

Does anyone have any experience with this and tips to stay sober?

Intimate and loving sex with my wife are not inner circle behaviors that I'm committed to remain abstinent from. My inner circle behaviors are lying, massages, porn, masturbating, and other obvious acting out behaviors.

I definitely find myself looking forward to the day my wife wants to have sex with me again and be intimate, and I'd be lying if I didn't admit that's a middle circle behavior for sure. I'm just aware that it will be a challenge for me not to snowball into porn the next day after having sex.
