Probably one of the crazier server stories I have that involves another server
Post Body

Lil background on me, when I work doubles that feel are almost non stop, I usually skip my lunch break just to get back to work quicker (not the safest option, I know). I’m lucky that I’ve managed to do this for a long time and never really felt sick or passed out because of this. In comes this younger girl who just gets hired named Dani. Dani had to pull a double one day and didn’t want to take her lunch break, though I tried to persuade her to at least eat something or she might get sick. About an hour passes and I’m off making drinks when I hear a loud sound behind me. At first I thought it was customer coughing/making a loud sound and I didn’t wanna seem rude or whatever by turning around and looking so I just stared straight and kept working. Then I hear one of the customers go “Sir! SIR!” I turn around and Dani is being held onto by the customer while slouching on the wall. Yup, she passed out. I rushed over and had the customer help me lower to the ground. I tried waking her up and she was conscious, just shaken. One of the other tables noticed and called 911, meanwhile my boss came over to try and help. An ambulance arrived a few minutes later and took her away, meanwhile my boss told me to just go back to work while he investigated further. Moral of the story: if you know you can’t survive without that lunch break, just sit down and eat, even if it’s just a hot dog or something.

TLDR: A fairly new server girl skipped her lunch break while working a double and passed out during her shift. Customers had to help me calm her down while an ambulance was called.
