So I (F53) have never posted here before. I am not a server, I just lurk here. I went out to eat this morning (at Perkins) with my grandson and our waitress was very nice/very fast. This particular restaurant is right across the street from a new puppy boutique my husband and I just opened, so I’m trying to get the word out however I can.
Our bill was $30. I tipped $20 and left it with my business card and a little note saying thanks for the great service and telling her that there is a new puppy boutique across the street and to feel free to stop by and say hi. Hopefully that wasn’t weird? It seemed like a good idea at time, especially since were right across the street, but now I am thinking it might’ve been cringy? What do you guys think?
