I was hired two weeks ago and still haven’t been scheduled

I texted last week about it and they said they’d have me on this week. It’s Thursday. How do I quit when I’m already on the payroll but I haven’t had a single shift? What do I even say? I’m kinda an anxious person when it comes to sticking up for myself like this so advice would be appreciated.
