Training advice
Post Body

I've been working at my job (a dive bar) for about 5 years now so they've officially made me a trainer. One thing I have trouble doing is letting them take over the tables. Usually, I have them follow me for about 5 of the first tables I get. Then afterwards, I'd let them take over and me follow them. I pretty much do it til the end of the shift, but then always feel weird about keeping the tips. There's only been one occasion where the trainee found out that they don't get a cut of tips during training shifts, and she got pretty mad (Though, my managers did tell her this during her interview). It still made me feel bad. Am I doing everything right or should I take over more?
