I have almost 0 server experience but was just hired full time for said job above. It’s the franchises premier location in the city I reside in and the few servers I had a chance to speak to said they loved it and made very good money. (No they weren’t promted to approach me I approached them myself to ask questions). I’ve seen a lot of threads here saying hiring someone with 0 exp is a 🚩. 3 Managers and the GM all talked to me, it was a two interview process, and all of them told me I blew them away in my interviews with my character and professionalism, and also my situational awareness regarding Servuce, knowing I had 0 yrs experience as a server. I do however have 6 years of customer service and sales, management, plus other skills I gained while working for “Prestine” companies (Forbes list type.) Should I be worried? And if so, for what reasons from yalls experience? No bad answers I truly want to know yalls opinions!
