So I work at a small Chinese restaurant. My last table of the day was a paaiiin.

At first, I thought I was just imagining it and that my patience was short because I pulled a double and it was like 45 mins to close.

Anyways, the come in. The guys asks me which soup out of two that he should get. I recommend. I describe them and he chooses one.

One of them order hot tea. I bring them a tea pot and a small cup. "oh can i get a cup too" ok

Bring them the cup can I get more napkins. Ok.

What are the vegetables in these dishes. Describe the dishes.

Do yall do small side portions of entree because I want the kung pao but also the chicken fried rice. No maam youll have to either pick one or choose both. Ok

She waves me from the waiter station right as I'm walking into the kitchen. Can we change our order. OK.

The guys says his soup isnt hot enough. OK. bring it back simmering.

My manager rang the ticket in wrong and charged them for a large soup. We dont have digital POS.

OK. I fix it.

Why are there two charges for the tea. I explain its because you asked for two cups. That is how we charge. They argue at me and tell me its stupid and doesnt make any sense. OK WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO ABOUT THAT. I just work here. The guy puffs his chest and says I want to speak to your manager. Ok and she just repeats what I said. They pay their ticket. Upset over the 3 extra dollars. No tip and leave.

It was slow for 4 hours then right at an hour to close a rush including that nasty couple. I lost a ticket slip meaning I lost that tip. The first time I have ever done that. The manager keeps trying to talk to me about it while I'm doing closing duties and I spill shit everywhere because I'm tired and done and can't multitask.

Just one of those days. Got a pint of ice cream after tho :)
