I worked at a restaurant that wasn’t a steakhouse but served a few cuts. We had just gotten in a new batch of hires, one of the girls tells us she’s allergic to a1, so we just assumed she’d get a rash.. turns out she couldn’t even touch it without going in to full on anaphylactic shock. We kept telling her stay the fuck away from the sauces, but she wouldn’t listen and ended up being carted off to the hospital on 3 seperate occasions. Manager finally let her go thank god, I was a Togo manager at the time, and she was one of my workers, so def didn’t love losing one of my employees midshift every other weekend. Even when we had her wear gloves she still couldn’t keep from almost dying so for her safety they let her go.
