I haven't seen him in 12 years. He has gotten older. I used to be really close with him. Now, we have grown apart since we are living on different continents.

Sometimes, I get really sad and tear up because I think about how I'm probably never going to see him in person ever again due to a series of unfortunate circumstances that have divided my family permanently.

I just watch him on social media going mountain climbing on the weekends and living a happy life. That really makes me tear up.

Maybe I'll send him a dm... or even better, a voice recording expressing my feelings.
