I get sad when people viciously tell "racists" that they'll never talk to them.

I know this is coming out of nowhere but I believe we have to stop shaming people who are racists. That's not making anything better and divides us up very viciously and tragically.

What if they want to be less racist but people keep shaming them for their past views and makes the racist antagonize those other races further? We have to be the bigger person and ease racists into being more accepting of other races. Many of these racists were born in a racist environment so it is often because of poor raising that these type of people exist.

Forgiveness and help is what these people really need. Racists are people too. They can be white, asian, black, or any kind of race out there. All nations around the world are afflicted with this mindset in many different ways to varying degrees so we need to change this vicious mindset of ours that simply blames racists for the things they've done in the past and instead offer them a way out in the most compassionate way possible. Otherwise, we're stuck in a cycle of antagonism that has no way out. Being better to racists is our only chance of fighting against racism. If you don't judge a racist for their views, maybe you'll be the start of the reason why they think people who are different from them aren't necessarily bad.

So try to be kind to racists. You don't necessarily have to talk to them if you're afraid but try not to be vicious to them either. You're only making things worse. Of course, we shouldn't allow racists to trample all over us if we're trying to be nice to them, so don't take shit either too. If things get nasty, just stay away, forgive them, and/or try to de-escalate the situation.

I'm Hmong American in the USA so this is coming from a minority pov. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
