Took my second attempt at the Series 7 this past Sat. Got a 68%. First time got a 60%. Doing my final attempt again in 30 days. Any advise anyone could recommend? My biggest take away was I saw more option questions based on reasoning then actual calculations. Know all your bonds. I feel like the suitability made me second guess myself which is why I couldn’t slay it. Dean is right on Margins. Don’t overdose on them. I got 1 margin question which I got wrong because I forgot how to calculate the combine margin equity. I got some EPS calculation and Debt Equity calculation. I did 6 final exams before test date. Highest was a 77 and lowest was a 62. My average off of the 6 exams was at least over 72 and I felt pretty confident. I have done at least 90% of the Kaplan practice questions and other supplement out there that anyone could recommend would be great. My study time starts again tomorrow.
