Help understanding sub-crates
Post Body

Hi,

I created a sub crate (House ā€”> Bass House) in Serato to try to separate songs that are, well, Bass House.

But Iā€™m realizing I donā€™t really understand their utility. Mainly around bringing in new music.

So letā€™s say I buy a new Bass house song. If I drag into into ā€œHouseā€ itā€™s not in my Bass-house crate. If I drag it straight into Bass-houseā€¦..does it also copy into ā€œHouse?ā€ Or do I need to drag it into both?

I definitely want one giant ā€œhouseā€ crate but want to be able to quickly have all he ā€œBass-houseā€ available to scroll through. I thought a sub-crate was the best way to do this, but now Iā€™m confused.

Thanks
