Hey everyone, I’ve previously posted about how I couldn’t see my purchased music (from iTunes) in my Serato DJ Pro on my MacBook Pro. And noticed a lot of people having the same problem as apple now has iTunes as Apple Music. So I could see the iTunes tab in my Serato on the left hand side but nothing would show up or analyse any files. Only to realise my purchased music was in the cloud.
When you’re in iTunes or Apple Music looking at your library of purchased music, when you put the cursor over the art work a circle with 3 dots appears on the right, click it and if it shows at the top ‘download’ then the track isn’t downloaded to your MacBook.
Like I say it’s in the cloud. So I clicked download then I went back into Serato to see if it would analyse the file, then what do you know, it recognised it!
Probably an obvious fix for most but I was really stumped as to why it would see my music in iTunes. And no one had mentioned when I asked previously about this, some saying that you just can’t play it no more etc. I feel kind of stupid lol.
So I spent nearly 2 hours downloading all my music from the cloud to my MacBook and now Serato has analysed all my purchased music in iTunes/Apple Music.
Hope this helps anyone in a similar situation.
I hope it works mate, I felt so stupid haha, but same time I’ve seen no one to look out for this and something so simple, even serato when I emailed me said they couldn’t help as it’s won’t support Apple Music. Just download one song first then analyse it first see if it works then continue to download them in iTunes, Let me know if it works for you anyway

Ah glad to hear man! I was same thought I would have to sign up to a different service. Only thing I’ve noticed is that it isn’t showing any of the art work to my music in Serato. Has yours shown art work?
