I've watched so many recovery videos and just watched one from a guy who had a recovery like I would hope to have. He didn't have splints - just disolving stitches. Even he said that most people who seem to suffer have some type of splint or packing. Why is this not more common in the US?
Is there anyone out there who didn't have splints and still had a bad recovery?
Cartilage has memory. The splints are to make sure the septum stays in the new position while it’s healing. I was so scared of them and they really weren’t that bad it just felt like I was congested
