Increased shipping with upgrades

So I was placing items into my basket to see the final overall cost of the sleeve and noticed that shipping rates go up when I’ve added shore…does this sound right? Surely there’s no noticeable difference other than the feel so why is shipping £20 more?
In the process of picking our next sleeve and this extra delivery cost is going to be a factor (as we are in the UK)
