It’s hard having a child (8f) with sensory issues and undiagnosed things. I can’t get her Dad on board. We aren’t together anymore and he won’t give permission or say anything could even possibly be wrong. No one seems to understand that when she’s done, she’s done. When she has a feeling she feels it HARD. From being happy, to sad, to hungry, to mad. It’s strong emotions allll the way. I’m still learning her and learning how to help her cope and let her know that I’m on her side no matter what. Other people don’t seem to understand it. Oh how could you let her control you, that doesn’t mean she does act like that blah blah.
I know she shouldn’t control me and I make sure to help her understand respect etc but I know she doesn’t have control over her strong feelings.
I started talking to her dr anyway and she says we can get papers filled out by me, her dad, and the school and go from there.
