Tourist here: bitten by mosquitos while on holiday in Dakar, how worried should I be?

I took my yellow fever shot a bit late, last Monday, so 8 days before being bitten (instead of the recommended 10). I've also been taking Malarone (Malaria prevention pills) for 3 days, and plan on continuing until Dec 26 (one week after leaving Senegal).
How worried should I realistically be?
