For those who completed a bachelors at a university and went on to complete a graduate certificate at a college, what is college like compared to university?

I am finishing up my undergrad at YorkU and am planning to do a graduate certificate at Seneca but i'd need to take 6 courses in one semester. is that a lot for college?
