Over the past year, I've picked up vaping in order to quit a lifelong chewing tobacco habit. I've quit nicotine altogether and I've even quit vaping to go back to tobacco. I noticed a drastically negative difference in my baseline energy levels, dopamine levels, sex drive, motivation, and even morning wood while I was actively using these products. It took quite a bit of going back and forth, but now I can confidently say that vaping will severely blunt the benefits that I get from SR, even compared to chewing tobacco. Well, today I found an NIH study to back up what ive experiencd: it found a massive drop in testosterone levels among participants and noted the potential for uptake of a large amount of heavy metals - which, I'm sure we all know by now are neurotoxic and can negatively effect energy levels. If you're currently vaping, it may be holding you back much more than you realize.
