Hey y'all!
Super stoked to get back in the gym. Before I was eating SO little that there's no way I could have continued my exercise routine while starting sema. I'm on 1.7 now and at a plateau at 156 lbs (started at 195, 5'8"). Had my first workout yesterday since starting in February, it feels AMAZING to be back! Before starting sema, I was an avid workout enthusiast, and I guess I can say that I am that again!
At first on sema I was eating whatever I wanted, just in insanely small portions. But as my appetite has normalized, I've gone back to eating all whole foods (now Im going to start prioritizing protein - aiming for 1g per lb of body weight), and already feel so much better.
I'm really excited for the body recomp! I'm REALLY hoping to lose 21 more pounds, but I realize that with lifting now and the appetite normalization, it will probably take a lot longer.
Is anyone in this stage as well? I'd love some buddies to talk about our sema fitness journey with! I'm feeling stressed that I'll never reach my goal weight, even though I've already lost almost 40lbs which is crazy. What a worry wart I am!
