I was so hopeful
Post Body

24 f. I’ve been on ozempic for 4 weeks. I lost weight I’ve been really sick, in constant pain and fevers. Pain I’ve never experienced before. The pain began to get really unbearable 3 days ago. My mom thought I might have pancreatitis. I have high pain tolerance. I’ve given birth naturally twice before and the pain I’ve experienced lately is pretty up there. Went to the ER few days ago. 2 rounds of blood work were normal. Ultrasound the next day showed I need surgery to remove my gallbladder as I have gallstones. Doctors believe it’s cause by my ozempic and told me to stop it. I am so disappointed. But at this point I can’t keep going on like this especially when my health is at such great risk. I’ve been told I can restart it after the surgery though. Hopefully. Has anyone else experienced something similar? If so how did you manage? TIA
