To preface, I am on a budget, so cannot afford the expensive brands ):

I ordered the darkest possible tan from b.tan, along with a mitten, back thing, and a brush. I have tanned in the past using jergens, but am now worried that I randomly decided to switch before a party. I didn’t like how orange jergens was and am hoping this one will be better.

Some of the reviews mention that b.tan leaves streaks and is hard to blend… I’m so nervous! I know I need to shave and exfoliate (maybe like 5 hrs before? or should it be a day?), as well as put lotion on my elbows, knees, feet ankles, and hands.

Since the product is known to be hard to blend, should I just apply lotion everywhere or will that prevent the tan from sticking? Will I have to apply it super quick?

Also, looking for general tips on how to blend my face, hands, and feet!
