So yesterday a teen was brandishing a short knife on a train, and I made sure to gtfo at the next stop.
Idk what he wanted to do but he was held back by his friend. He was only a few feet from me with the knife pointing in a general direction. I was mostly calm but the adrenaline was building up.
Tbh I was quite unsettled by this and realised how ill-prepared I am. Should I move or would this agitate him? Should I team up with other passengers to defend? I'm not afraid to fight but just want to learn the best way to handle situations like this. In particular, any quick tip to defend against a short knife in (semi) enclosed space?
