Toggle auto Lock-on not turning off...

Title says it all... This feature doesn't seem to be able to be removed... I tick it to "off" and when I go into combat its functions (switching the lock on to the next target without me doing anything) still happens! Anyone know if I'm doing this wrong? or if this is just broken... It seemed to work for DS3 when I played that
