So without any rot essence in my inventory Unseen Aid procs 30% of the time. Just one essence drops it to 15%. So a few deaths and I’m left with a 3/20 chance of not losing 50% of my ability point progress and sen. This is just so much of a worse system than From’s other games because there’s always a risk/reward present with the SoulsBourne Ring games. What are my chances of pushing forward a bit farther and making it back to my bloodstain if I die? Is the next bonfire right around the corner, or do I need to homeward bone back? With Sekiro, when I get close to an ability point there’s virtually no reason for me to risk the death, just warp (penalty free) to some easy mob to farm for a couple minutes then just sprint back to where I was. It has ruined a lot of the tension and (fun) anxiety about exploring the world.
The NPCs can all go cough to death
