Iāll admitā¦ It was definitely one of the things on my bucketlist to see.
I was obsessed with the lore and the āholy grailā nature.
And running around in the prototype was kinda fun for a good 8 mins.
If the whole game was like that or the boss battle stuff sure.
And by that i mean running through environments like this

But, when I think about itā¦
I understand why Naka flipped.
If this was a random experimental platformer ā¦ whatever.
But, hot off Sonic 3 he likely felt it was not representative of what the evolution of sonic should be.
This was a crown jewel thenā¦
And as cool as the fish eye stuff looks in a trailerā¦ a whole game like that I doubt would be fun.
Itās confusingā¦ I have no idea what is going on. The levels donāt differentiate themselves enough to make for exploration.
Itās a confusing mess.
And people would have never bought Sonic Adventure.
Itās interesting but not a professional game. Itās a tech demo at best.
I think itās probably better it in that form wasnāt a thing.
Maybe if they had time to experiment moreā¦ sure.
But, honestly that wouldāve been years more and by then Saturn would be a thing.
