I held a standard clearance when I was 18, I was fighting a legal battle at the time and disclosed it was all bullshit. It was and to save a battle I cut a deal that had all charges dropped after 3 years. I did have to go to rehab as part of the deal. Will this stop me from getting a clearance again. I have a chance to work at a base doing Electrical engineering but I have to get a security clearance first. I was told a standard secret clearance. It’s been over 10 years now since that happened and I have lived a good clean life since. I was never informed or told my standard clearance was revoked or suspended while I was on probation, I just resigned from the job that required it since I was going to be in rehab for 6 months I didn’t want to hold the project back. Any advice will be appreciated
