Just a heads up for anyone who has used the e-App verification instead of the e-Qip.

I completed mine last week. The processing/onboarding email says it will take 1- 4 days to get through the initial review by a security specialist (this is before it goes to OPM).

Expect that 4 range.

I sent an email to my Sec. Spec. and she let me know there've been issues with the e-App, so they're running behind. She also let me know she has over 20 cases on her desk right now.

As a side note, does anyone know if the e-App timeline is looking longer/about the same as the e-Qip numbers floating around? I'm trying to get Tier 2/Public Trust security clearance. Trying to figure out if I need to find a contract job in the meantime.
