FSS/income limit

For FSS, does the job you’re working have to be full time? Or could it be part time-full time ish as long as you made the income they wanted?
Also for my new job, it makes a little more than section 8 income guidelines I was thinking on the interview Monday I would be honest and ask for 2 less hours a week so I’m still within the guidelines. Or something like that.
