It’s interesting seeing how much hate single male posts get on this sub. I understand some behaviors are not adequate but we are ALL part of a community I don’t understand why I only see hate in all of the single male posts on this subreddit. I’m part of this lifestyle for more than a decade (6 years as a couple, and now 5 years as a single guy) and I’ve made a lot of good friends on the way, and I do talk and interact positively at least with one new couple every time I go there. (That does not mean it ends up in sex). All that said, I cannot match this subreddit with the real life experience at the resort or the lifestyle in general. People are not that mean and hateful in real life. As long as everyone respects each other’s space, boundaries, and everybody uses minimal common sense, there’s no need for hate. Don’t be a creep, keep your expectations low, acknowledge your role in this lifestyle, be respectful to yourself and others, and enjoy! We’re just a bunch of free spirited, fun, happy people.
