Why do traditional antifungal creams do nothing for seb derm but things like nizoral do? (And why for some don’t even those work?)

Post Body

I know the actual cause of seb isn’t truly fully understood. The yeast that plays a part is normal on everyone skin so it’s likely some form of allergic reaction rather than true overgrowth most docs believe. But I’m just curious why lotrimin and other antifungals are well known to do nothing and only specific creams do-and why for many even those do nothing.
