I’m a male who just turned 50. 6ft 210lbs. I’ve always found ways to exercise outside in an attempt to regulate mood and lose weight. Unfortunately, I have a chronic foot injury that has limited my ability to walk/run for exercise.
I can do about 10 perfect form pushups. I can’t do any pull-ups. I’d like to gain muscle but realize that’s not super easy at my age. Just want to work out my body, tone up a little, and lose weight.
I tried cross fit but couldn’t really do some of the exercises. I just feel so weak. Does anyone have any class recommendations or a personal trainer that would be good for me? I have a budget of about $200 a month so I’m not sure personal training is an option. Maybe beginners yoga? Something else? Looking for out of the box suggestions or a specific gym or trainer. Thanks!!
