Hi everyone,
Me and my girlfriend will be moving out to Seattle within the next two months. We already have an AirBnB for the month of September so that we can have a home base to apartment view from, etc.
The big question we have to think about is what neighborhood will fit our needs or is nice enough in general. I have school and she has work in the downtown area, but we have little to no interest living in the heart of things (Should we reconsider?)
The main area we have looked at is West Seattle. Other than this, where should we consider and why?
Main relevant concerns are: Transit times (by car and public), safety, demographics, things to do w/o having to drive into downtown.
Thank you all in advance, we are very appreciative and excited for this new chapter !
So peaceful and Magnolia blvd sunsets for the win

I love Magnolia. Close to everything except everything! LOL... It's a beautiful area though.
Fremont and Wallingford/ Phinney are some of my favorite places.
