Did Swedish reach an agreement with their striking healthcare staff?
Post Body

I live out of state and want to move back to Seattle for reasons. I’ve been casually RN job hunting, and don’t particularly want to work in the thick of a COVID epidemic. My current hospital is low on patients with the COVID, and I kind of like that, at least for the risk factor.

I know one of the things they were hoping for was an increase in staff to make safer patient ratios. In the past couple of days, I I’ve received a TON of contacts from recruiters for jobs at Swedish. Which is highly unusual, because they usually do their own in-house recruiting. Yet, these are all direct-hire positions, and not contract, traveler, or other temporary jobs.

Thanks for the info!
