I feel like every time I do a “popular” hike, the ones people blow up on social media. Every time I go up on one of these hikes, I’m packing out a grocery bag worth of garbage. I know everyone isn’t a crazy out door person or whatever, but what happened to being stewards of the land we love? It bugs me so much, born and raised here and I just want to someday have the same hiking experiences with my kids I had with my mom. But if y’all don’t start at least giving a shit and just pack in and pack out! Who knows what it will look like in 5 years. I already don’t see as much wildlife as a used to on some trails because of those people that love to share their music with the whole forest, which has made me sad. 😔 please be better
